Laboratory Introduction
The purpose of establishing this laboratory is to research how to effectively and usefully analyze and manage data, convert data into useful information, and further summarize that information into actionable knowledge.
There are two main goals:
- The first is to train students with fundamental data analysis skills, enabling them to extract useful or interesting insights from data so they can apply these skills in their future careers. This includes understanding traditional statistical methods, multivariate techniques, numerical methods, and the use of statistical software such as Minitab and SPSS Clementine.
- The second is to conduct advanced research in data analysis and knowledge management, including topics like data mining and decision analysis, with the goal of developing more efficient and tailored data management models.
